Meredith Salenger
Salenger has a family in Malibu. When she was a kid, she loved doing shows in front of close family and friends. She was taken by her mother to her first acting class at the age of eight old. Salenger played a small role as "a dancing and singing orphan" in John Huston's feature film Annie. Salenger was also a part of a variety of television advertisements. Salenger was the first actress to be cast for The Journey of Natty Gann produced by Disney and was a film starring John Cusack alongside Ray Wise. The film received the Moscow Film Festival's gold award as the first movie made in America. She was also named "Best actor in drama" at the Youth in Film Awards, because of her portrayal of the sexy Natty. In addition, she appeared in four films before turning the age of 18. One of these is A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. After that, she enrolled to Harvard to further her education.
