In 2013, Australian New York City resident Yael Stone was the inmate playing "Lorna Morello" In the film Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Her early work experience has enabled her to meet and work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael is a renowned actor working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's journey to New York City began when the production received a prestigious review at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. In The Cannery, a Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new creative writings and encourage innovative concepts.
